My Child & I

Noticing that the dosa (crepe) batter is not sufficient for my brood - I mixed a bit of ragi (finger millet) flour and started making (brown)dosas.

Firstborn peeks in to kitchen.

"Amma, are you making dosa?"

"Yes, Kanna"

"Why is the dosa, brown...?"

" Because the batter is brown! "

" Is it because you left it under sun and it got tanned?"

(Kiddo did take notice that I had left the batter container in the porch for better fermenting)
