Meet Disney Princess Cinderella in the following cities at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm

Annual Cake Show 2011

With the season of carols, mistletoe’s and decorations kicking in, Bangaloreans will witness their first glimpse of the Christmas celebrations this year. The 37th Annual Cake Exhibition is held from December 16 to January 1 at the St.Joseph’s High School ground 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM . (Entry Charged)

Each of the 37 cake shows organised in the past have had one major attraction to entice the public. This year feast your eyes to the Bijapur Gol Gumbaz at Namma City.

The cake show will prove to be every child’s delight as there are plenty other cake attractions as well such as Metro Train, Barbie dolls, teddy bears, Formula One car, windmills and so on.
The cakes will be dismantled after the exhibition and distributed to different charitable organisations for children.

There will be quite a number of stalls selling plum cakes, chocolates, cookies, ice cream and other Christmas goodies.

4th Bengaluru International Film Festival

The 4th edition of BIFFES, the annual Bengaluru International Film Festival, is resuming after a year's pause and scheduled to open on December 15, 2011 to bring to the city the best of cinema from around the world, along with seminars, presentations and Master Classes. When the 4th BIFFES closes on December 22, 2011, it is envisaged that it would be firmly established as a special Bengaluru event and one of the premier film festivals of India.

Silk Mark Expo 2011

Silk Lovers rejoice - The Annual Mark Expo is here!

Not just silk sarees, information on ways to test pure silk and tips to take care of silk materials will be available at the Expo.

Other notable features this year is a stall called ‘theme pavilion,’ where the consumers can themselves check if the silk is pure or not. Besides, the entire silk production process right from its planting, silk worm culture till the weaving will be demonstrated in the event. In addition to this, artisans from different states like Ujjain would be demonstrating the art of silk painting.

Apart from varieties of silk sarees and dress materials and other textiles coming from about 15 different Indian states - Benaras, Kanjivaram, Bandhini, Patola, Tussar, Muga,Crepe and Brocaded silks, various other exotic products like denims, photo frames, curtains, bags, wallets, scarfs, upholsteries, furnishings, shoes and sandals made out of silk will be on display at the 114 stalls in the six-day exhibition.

Sandeep Narayan : Vocal Concert

Sandeep Narayan, is a disciple of the well acclaimed musician, Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan. He started his initial training in vocal music at the age of four, under the guidance of his mother, Smt. Shubha Narayan.

Having performed extensively in India, the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, Sandeep hopes to continue serving as a cultural link between Carnatic music and audiences around the world. He has a degree in Law & Society from the University of California.

In addition to live theatre, Sandeep has sung for documentaries and feature films, and continues to connect Indian culture to audiences in the West through workshops, lec-dems, classes and of course live concerts.
