The Powwow Club is holding a week-long Christmas celebrations at Hide & Peek, Jayamahal Extn., from 19th Dec to 23rd Dec, 10 - 11 am.

Theme: winter
Activities:
1. A story in mime about sharing.
2. Game - a. snowball match
b. sledging relay race
3. Winter worksheet that will teach children more about the season and its components in a fun way.
Tuesday, 20th Dec
Theme: what is Christmas?
Activities:
1.Story: Nativity Scene : the birth of Christ
A puppet show with song and dance
2. Christmas Pageant - children will dress up and act as characters from the Nativity Play.
3. Craft - make a crown for the king/queen/wise man inside you and carry back home.
Wednesday, 21st Dec
Theme - gingerbread and baking
Activities:
1. Story: The Gingerbread Man
A reading with actions
2. Bake and decorate with icing, gingerbread man cookies.
3. Game: Catch me if you can.......
4. Craft: Make a mini Christmas sock and carry back home.
Thursday, 22nd Dec
Theme: symbols of Christmas - Christmas tree and St.Nicholas (Santa Claus)
Activities:
1. Story: A Christmas Dream
Story will be acted out in costume and with simple props.
2. Games: a. Naughty or Nice?
b. Treasure Hunt - help Santa recover presents, hidden all over the room.
3. Craft - children will help construct and decorate a Christmas Tree made with everything the Powwow Club stands for - books, music, art, craft.
Friday, 23rd Dec
Theme - Christmas party
An hour of fun with gifts, Santa's visit, games, carol singing, food and more!
