Mango Mela 2012

Mouth watering varieties of mangoes from across the country are up for grabs at various Hopcoms outlets in the State, as the farmers' cooperative has launched its much-awaited mango mela. Varieties such as Badami, Malgoa, Kalapadu, Rathnagiri Alphonso, Mallika, Banganpalli, Raspuri, Neelam, Kesar, Sendura, Dasheri, Thothapuri, Sakkareguthi, Aamarpalli and Kesar are available. 

This year, the mela will be held at all the Hopcoms retail outlets across the city. Also, retail stores will be organised at special mobile outlets in H S R Layout, Kengeri Satellite Town and J P Nagar.

Apart from our 287 outlets, fruits will be sold in mobile vehicles at a few areas. The highlight of this year’s mela will be sale of mangoes which are ripened with Ethylene.
