Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike presents Wake Up Clean Up Bengaluru – the city’s biggest event dedicated to waste - a 7 day Expo from Feb 3rd to Feb 10th at Freedom Park, initiating awareness, dialogue and action around the management of Bangalore's growing waste problem.
The week long expo has dedicated solution tracks for all types of waste generators – apartment complexes, hotels, hospitals, businesses, corporates and institutions, through workshop sessions, expert talks, exhibitions and focused training programs.
Schools and colleges across the city participate in DIY sessions, awareness workshops and take pledges to do their bit for a cleaner city.
The Grand finale is an open to public weekend Waste Habba - a 2-day dawn to dusk extravaganza celebrating waste that is more - waste management, waste as art, waste as culture, waste as wealth and waste that each one of us can do something about.
