Warsi Brothers - Live in concert

 
Nazeer Ahmed Khan Warsi&Naseer Ahmed Khan Warsi belong to original Delhi Gharana and they were brought up by their Father Late Ustad Zaheer Ahmed Khan Warsi and Grand Father Padmashri Late Aziz Ahmed Khan Warsi. Their singing is best known for the purity of Raaga's and measured tones and Taals which are special to original Delhi Gharana Gayaki. Both the brothers are the recognized radio & T.V. artists of Traditional Sufiyana Qawwali, Ghazals, Thumri and Classical Bandish and perform regularly on All India Radio.

Norah Jones, is a world-renowned American jazz singer-songwriter who will be performing in India for the first time. Norah Jones began her music career in 2001, when she released a set of samples called First Sessions, but her 2002 debut album Come Away With Me catapulted her into the global spotlight. The album reached the top of the US Billboard 200, and its singles 'Don't Know Why' and 'Come Away With Me', proved to be instant radio hits. Jones then swept the 45th Grammy Awards winning five awards including 'Best New Artist', 'Album Of The Year' and 'Record Of The Year'

 Uday has an engaging style and is able to reach out and communicate with audiences of all backgrounds. Since his first performance at Bhopal in 1985, Uday has performed in a number of prestigious festivals and events in India and abroad. Uday has also collaborated with artists from other disciplines and cultures including the contemporary dancer Astad Deboo, Ensemble Modern in Germany and musicians from Spain, Georgia and the USA.

Uday has been blessed by Ustad Zakir Hussain who accompanied him on the Pakhawaj at the Prithvi Music Festival, Mumbai. Additionally, Pandit Suresh Talwalkar and Shri Sukhvinder Singh Namdhari have accompanied Uday on the Tabla in a number of concerts.

Uday has contributed to the soundtracks of International Art films including Mani Kaul’s “Cloud Door”, Aparna Sen’s “Mr&Mrs Iyer”, Amol Palekar’s “Anahat”, Renuka Shahane’s “RITA” and others.
