This monsoon season get ready for M.A.D. Live!!! This creativity and learning based workshop is based on the on-ground extension of the successful TV show M.A.D. on Pogo.  M.A.D. Live art and craft courses are scientifically created and conducted to nurture and develop certain vital skills in children that are essential for their overall growth and development. The workshop will include 12 different crafts suited to the age group. At the end of the course participants will receive a personally signed certificate by Rob. The workshops will also be held at the Just Books stores as AECS Layout, Whitefield and Prestige Shanthinekatan.

Workshop on Good Touch and Bad Touch 

Locality: Podar Jumbo Kids, #445, 9th Cross, J.P.Nagar 2nd Phase, Bangalore.

Age group: 2 - 10 years

Fees: Rs.100 per child and Rs. 50 for each additional child from the same family

‘When Touch Becomes Trouble’ is a one hour workshop organised by Jumbo Podar to teach kids how to respect their own as well as others bodies. The workshop also aims at educating and sensitising parents and educators on safety issue. The workshop will be divided into three parts- first the parents will be given a talk where they will learn  “10 ways to communicate with kids on good touch and bad touch”.  This will be followed by an audio visual muppet show which will help the children understand the difference between good touch and bad touch followed by an activity with the children to gauge their understanding of the subject.

Saturday Workshop at National Gallery Of Modern Art

Age group: 5 - 8 years and 9 -11 years

A weekly art workshop led by artist Sonia Jose who will lead a drawing and image making session. Each session will encourage children to think about who they are in relation to their families, their homes and their environment. Every workshop will have a different theme and the theme this weekend is ‘Me, My Family and My Friends”. It is compulsory for every child to be accompanied by a parent.
