Yet another treat for Art lovers...
After the continued success of this event since the last 9 years, we once again bring to you a celebration in commemoration of the great saints and Vagekaras, Saint Purandaradasa, Saint Muthuswami Dikshidhar, Saint Shyama Shastri and Saint Thyagaraja .
SCHEDULE :
I. Painting competition:-
*Category A*- Coloring
*Category B*-drawing
*Category C*-abstract.
2.For category A the picture will be provided at the venue,by us.
3.For category B the topic is “Indian politics” or “Religious harmony”.
4.The topic for Category C will be given on the spot.
5.Participants are requested to bring their own material.
II.Music competition:-
1.Category A- Any Geetham OR Nottu swara OR Devarnama OR Namavalli (Bhajan).
2.Category B- Any Adi tala Varnam OR Lakshana Geetham OR Swarajathi OR Dasa Pada.
3.Category C- Atta Thala/Ragamalika Varnam OR Krithi by the trinity.
4.Category D – A Ragamalika OR Vilambakala krithi by the trinity(with manodharma)
5.Criteria remains same, for both the group and the solo event.
6.Shruthi Box is to be brought by participant.
III.Dance competition:-
1.For dance Partcipants Cd’s will have to be brought by the students themselves.
2.CD’s to be submitted to the reception desk, at least 30mins, before their scheduled slot.
3.Category A- Shloka OR any Invocatory Item
4.Category B- Any Jathiswaram OR Alaaripoo (in any of the Jaathis) OR Koutvam.
5.Category C- A Devarnama OR Thillana OR a Bhajan
6.Category D- A Padam(Nayaka-Nayaki Bhava) OR Krihi OR Javalli.
IV.Shloka competition:-
1.Category A – Guru Stotram OR Hanuman Chalisa (8 lines of the chosen Shloka)
2.Category B – Any Ashtothram OR Bhagavad Gita -Chapter 12 (16 lines/4 verses)
3.Category C – Bhagavad Gita (10 shlokas), of any chapter other than chapter 12 OR Maheeshasura Mardhini sthothram.
V.Handwriting competition:- For all categories, a paragraph would be given on the spot.
AGE GROUP CATERGORIES :
A - Sub Junior: I - III STD (5years – 8 years)
B - Juniors: IV – VIISTD (9years – 12 years)
C – Sub Seniors: VIII – XSTD (13 years to 15 years)
D - Seniors: XI and above (16years – 20 years)

*For Drawing/Painting – Rs.100 per head.
*For Group category (Music & Dance) – Rs.100 per head.
*For children participating in more than 2 categories, Special discount of Rs.50 can be availed.
*Payments can be made Online (or by any other mode).
*For Spot registrations Rs.50 extra will be charged on every participation.
*Registered participants will be given priority (over spot registration) based on their reporting time, for all events. (On 1st come 1st served basis.)
*Spot registrations will be entertained subject to availability of time.

*No film music allowed.
