Heritage Walk: Sultanpet and Nandi

INTACH Bangalore invites you to our next Parichay, which will take place on Sunday, 2 March 2014, at Nandi and Sultanpet, near Nandi Hills.

A heritage walk here gives you the chance to walk through 1000 years of history and architecture! There is plenty to see, including the 9th century Bhoganandishwara temple, a tiny 200-year-old cemetery from the days of the Raj, and a ruined but beautiful mosque attributed to Tipu Sultan.

There is a fee of Rs. 500/- for this Parichay, which includes travel and a snack. Seats are limited so please do register in advance. For registration and further details, please email intach.blr@gmail.com.

Where: Sultanpet and Nandi
When: Early morning hours, on Sunday, 2 March 2014, return to Bangalore by lunchtime.
