About the performance
This is a story of a cosmopolitan child exposed to every form of music and finally discovering the roots of all the musical forms through Raagas.

About Vid.Chaitra Sontakke
Born in a music loving family, her interest in music was nurtured by her grandmother Smt. NarayaniPai. She went on to formally begin Music education under Sri Subramanya.
Chaitra later started Hindushani Music lessons from Dr. Smt Mani Sontakkeandgraduated to learning from Dr. R. B. Sontakke. In his guidance she mastered the GharanedarGayaki of PanditOmkarnath Thakur’s famous BhavapoornaGayakistyle.She has done her master’s degree in vocal apart from B.E and cleared the NET exam in distinction. The NET exam is one of the toughest examinations conducted form the UGC . She has been performing in cities like Gadag, Mumbai and Bangalore. She is attached with the Valley School (Krishnamurthy Foundation India) and the Prakriya Green Wisdom School. She has had the privilege of working on several projects under the guidance of senior musician and educator Vidushi Smt. BhartiBalakrishnan.
She has given concerts for SangeetSankalp, NadashreeSangeetSabha, LalBaghUdyanaVana, Pt. BasavarajBendigeriSmriti, Engineers coference UVCE, Christ college Seminars, Independence Day Celebrations attended by Ex. Chief MinisterB.S. Yediyurappa and Governor HR. Bharadwaj. She has also perfomed for Udaya T.V. Akashvani and Doordarshan.
