Navadarshanam : 4 day Program on Mira-Kabir Bhajans

NAVADARSHANAM

is happy to announce a

FOUR- DAY PROGRAM

centred on selected bhajans of

MIRA AND KABIR

Dates:  Program will start at 9 am on Fri August 15, 2014 and end at 4 pm  on Monday  August 18, 2014. 

Venue: Navadarshananam Trust, Ganganahally hamlet, Gumalapuram village.

Accommodation: Shared rooms in the various buildings at Navadarshanam will be made available to all registered participants.

Food: Simple, healthy yet tasty vegetarian dishes.

Resource Persons: Tara Kini and T.S.Ananthu. Tara will teach the participants how to sing the bhajans, and will also train them in rudimentary aspects of the Dhrupad style of classical music. Every morning, there will be a classical session on shlokas.

T.S. Ananthu will explain the meaning of these bhajans from a mystic point of view.

If time permits, more bhajans may also be covered.

Fees: None. Voluntary donations to Navadarshanam Trust may be made.
