Ananya is holding ‘Anekal K Ramaswamy Iyengar Memorial Concerts’ in the City. The venue for all the following events is Ananya Sabhangana, 4th Main, Malleswaram.
June 30, 5.30 pm, Violin duet by K V Raja Iyengar and Vijaya Kumar Iyengar.
Followed by a vocal recital by Anil Murthy.
July 1, 10.30 am, Vocal recital by Vinaysharva.
6.30 pm, Ragasudhalaya Charitable Trust and Ananya present Rutugana Sandhya, a programme based on the compositions of Sadashiva Brahmendra by S Shankar.

Shraddha...’
Shraddha Nrityarnav-2, a bharatanatyam performance by students of Shama Krishna, will be held on the occasion of the second anniversary of Shraddha Dance Centre, on June 30, 6 pm. This will be followed by a performance by ‘Bharatanjali Dance Ensemble’. The venue is ADA Rangamandira, J C Road.
Varied touch
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) will be presenting a variety cultural programme by ‘Bhargavi Arts and Dance’ under the ‘Every Friday Cultural Evening Programme’ on June 29, 6.30 pm at Yavanika, State Youth Centre, Nrupathunga Road.
Bharatanatyam
Aatmalaya Academy Trust will be presenting the bharatanatyam rangapravesha of
Kruthika Ramesh, a disciple of Padmaja Suresh, on July 8, 10.30 am.

Nrityam’
Magnitude Gallery, Jayanagar, is having an exhibition on the theme Nrityam. It is based on the various dances of India. The authentic regional flavours of the varied dance forms of India have been captured on canvas, in the form of original masterpieces. ‘Shibori’ range
Mura Collective is presenting a shibori range in cheerful colours at Vermilion House, 3/12, Cleveland Cross Road, Frazer Town on June 29 and 30, 10.30 am to 7 pm. On display will be saris, fabrics, dupattas and kurtas in silk kota, maheshwari, chanderi and cotton.
‘Mangalika’
Mangalika, the annual charity exhibition of items such as handcrafted saris, rakhis, exquisite jewellery, apparels as well as salwar kurta sets, will be open to public from June 27, 10 am to 7 pm, at Lalit Ashoka Hotel, Kalinga Hall.
Rich craft
‘Sampoorn Nature Bazaar-2012’, the exhibition, will be held from June 29 to July 8 at Chitrakala Parishat. As many as 140 craft groups from 20 states will showcase their talent and wares that reflects the culture of our civilization.
It will have a collection ranging from garments, soft furnishings, accessories, jewellery, toys and leather products to pottery, painting, gifts; and decorative items. Craft demonstrations of lac bangle demo, madhubani painting, etc are a few highlights of this event. There will be a gourmet corner offering organic cuisines. It is open for public between 10.30 am and 8.30 pm.
