It’s a three-dimensional still theatre in miniature art form. A spectacular visual concept that mesmerises adults and children alike, the earthy handmade small theatre with its tiny life-like characters is performed every year in an open courtyard with an antique (100yr old) building as backdrop at the Bimba Art Hut in Basavanagudi.
Every Navarathri, they bring out a new story from the Puranas and the new work, which takes months to prepare, is unveiled.
