7th International Children's Film Festival

A visual treat for children is round the corner. The 7th Children’s Film Festival by Children’s India will kick off from January 9 at Devaraj Urs Bhavana in the city.

The organisers have planned on animation workshop for children on January 10. This is for creative children and we will be getting together over 400 children who will be charged a nominal fee of Rs200 per day.

The highlight of the festival will be the presence of representatives from participating countries. This year, the focus country will be Iran with over 15 films from that country. There will be a separate section for films on environment (10 films). Other categories include documentaries, short films, Kannada films etc.

More than 20 theatres will screen 80 to 100 shows during the five days. Screenings free for Children.
