Atta Galatta presents Thaalavattam Art. Music. Lifestyle at the Rococo Art and Exhibition Gallery.
Thaalavattam Art. Music. Lifestyle. represents a gateway to an alternative lifestyle, with a broad vision for a healthier home. It creates space for all forms of art, be it playing the Digeridoo or carving wood. There's room for all of it. . Workshops are to be held around the house to host and spread the concepts of the art and principles of the project.
The schedule of the 3 day event is:
4th October, 7pm to 9 pm, Unveiling
5th October, 2pm to 9 pm, workshops on didgeridoo making, recycled drums, Tetra Pak shakers, junk sculptures, yoga and bottle painting by The Bathroom Painter. Practical utilities will be on display and music that summons your soul.
6th October, 2pm to 9 pm,- workshops on face packs, solid waste management by SAAHAS and all of the above, one last time.
Thaalavattam is Montry Manuel's percussion project in which performers play with hand fashioned instruments made from old paint buckets, PVC pipes, and other 'trashy' elements, producing a hypnotising blend of edgy tribal and electronica sounds.
