Joy of Giving Week; launched in 2009 by the Chennai based NGO ‘Bhumi’, it is celebrated every year, in the week including Gandhi Jayanti. Into its fifth year, NGO plans to work actively with over 10 lakh socially conscious students on a national basis & NMIMS Bangalore is partnering them again in this quest with students volunteering to work for a minimum of 5 hours on various social initiatives . ‘Udyam’ the Social Enterprise Cell at NMiMS Bangalore has planned a range of activities students will undertake for the cause of social welfare marking their contribution to this national celebration of the ‘Joy of giving’.
