You are cordially invited to the annual meet at Navadarshanam on Jan 26, 2016 with family and friends.
THEME
Going Local Naturally: Embracing local futures as part of the move to sustainable living alternatives
The
session briefly examines how much we have lost in the last quarter of a
century in the consumptive splurge that is at the heart of the current
economic growth engine and how little we have gained in the progression
towards that most fundamental human seeking - a basic sense of
fulfillment. The session then makes the journey back home to our own
locales and explores the choices we can make to reclaim some of the lost
horizons, perhaps ways we can turn our urban centres into more sustainable habitats for humanity and specifically examines the idea of localizing our food choices.
A high-light of the afternoon is a Kabir-Bhajan session led by Tara Kini and Deepa.

Mr Srinivas has kindly offered to help by making available a school bus to start from Jayanager 4th Block Complex near Jain Temple - assemble by 8.15am for a departure at sharp 8.30am and the return trip to leave Navadarshanam campus at 4.00pm.
As
in the previous years, Aravind and his wife Jyothi have kindly agreed
to co-ordinate the transport arrangements, so that car pools can be
created. Those needing a ride by bus and those having extra space in
their vehicles are requested to contact Aravind on 98868-52161 or Jyothi on 94488-80718.
Please do let us know if you are joining us for this occasion with an RSVP to this email. This is of crucial importance to enable adequate food preparation, yet no wastage.
