Harshakala 2012




Harshakala, National Handloom Expo 2012, offers handloom products ranging from cotton kerchiefs to expensive silks, all under one roof in the city.

The Handloom expo is being held at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds . The ongoing exhibition has more than 200 stalls covering an area of 27,000 square feet in which 78 hand-loom outlets from across the country will participate.

Weavers from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Orissa and other states of India are participating in the exhibition this year with the theme ‘Handlooms, a combination of nature and tradition’. Handloom products in silk, cotton and wool are being showcased.
