The Jaivik Krishik Society, in association with the Department
of Horticulture, has organised ‘Savayava Santhe’ (Organic Food Fair) at
Mysore Horticulture Society, Lalbagh, for two days on November 10 and
11. Open from 9:30am to 6pm.
The main objective of the organic fair is to provide an opportunity for the producers to exhibit their unique produce and sell them directly to the consumers through their associations.

The second edition of the annual fair will have a
variety of organic produce ranging from rice to cereals to vegetables
and fruits.
Rice varieties such as gandhasale,
jeerige sanna, rajmudi, red rice besides minor millets will be
available, apart from processed food and cosmetic products.
Thirty
organisations, including farmers’ groups, are participating in the fair
being held by the Jaivik Krishik Society in association with the
Horticulture Department.
