Vaggeyakara Utsava - A tribute to all composers

Music, the language of pure sound or nada is a form of expression of emotions both subtle and deep. Good music appeals to one's conscience and lends grace and refinement to human thought and expression...Carnatic Classical music that we enjoy today is one of the finest of fine arts and has evolved through the ages. Many Vaggeyakaras (composers) have contributed vastly to it's richness. To pay tribute to these great composers, Ranjani Fine Arts (RFA) will be hosting a 'Vaggeyakara Utsava' from 12pm to 7pm on January 12, 2013. This will be an occasion for all in the community to come together and pay their respects to these great doyens of Classical music.

Rendition of Classical music compositions (from 12pm to 2.30pm and 4.15pm to 7pm) by

• 15 Music schools

Group rendition of Pillari Geethams &  Pancharathna kritis @ 2.30pm

Prasadam @ 4.00 pm onwards
