The annual Family Fair has begun at the RBANM School Grounds, opposite Ajanta Theatre. Come summer and the City looks forward to the fair which is an all in all family entertainer.
The exhibition has over 100 stalls and 25 amusement rides. The food court caters a variety of cuisines from across the country.
There are an inexhaustible range of products and electrical appliances. Some of the other attractions are furniture, books, artificial jewellery, mattress, watches, handloom, handicrafts, footwear, dress materials, garments, stationery, toys, gifts, children CDs, health care and beauty products.
The good discounts on offer is another attraction. An added amusement this year will be the magic show. You can take a ride on Italian tora-tora, dragon train, dashing car, merry columbus, titanic, indian airline, jumping jack, mini train, mini jeep, zig-zag, fish merry go-round, jumping frog, horse merry go-round and the giant wheel.
Idli Express serves steaming hot dosa and idlis in addition to chaats, papads, pav bhajis, ice cream, popocorn, lassi, sweet corn and sweet curd. The exhibition is open on all days between 4 pm and 9 pm.
