12th Chitra Santhe 2015
Chitrasanthe’ is a large scale, pan-Indian one-day annual art event, organized by at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, since the last 11 years. Chitrasanthe has opened a new horizon to the artists aged between 20 & 80 years, drawn from the entire country to participate, display, sell and interact with art lovers. It is a great event well known like ‘Kaala Goda’ (Mumbai), Nandan Mela (Santiniketan) and Baroda Art Fair. The number of visitors to Chitrasanthe exceed far more than the visitors visiting all the galleries of Karnataka in an year put together. This is a unique art event in South India, having and witnessing the possibilities of transforming an art lover as an artist. The creative agenda of Chitrasanthe is to make art to reach the people and make the them that appreciative art lovers.

Chitra Santhe-2013
Come Sunday, January 27, artists from across the country will descend on the Kumara Krupa Road to showcase their works at Chitra Santhe-2013, organised by the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath (CKP). The Santhe will be open from 9 am to 8 pm.
The 10th edition of ChitraSanthe, a medium connecting artists and art lovers from all over the country, will be held on January 27.
Hosted by Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, this Santhe over the years has been bringing artists from various arenas to a single platform to demonstrate and showcase their creativity and bring to the fore their contribution contribute towards art. In doing so, the Santhe identifies and encourages upcoming artists. On a larger scale, it aims at educating people effectively about art and propagates the importance of this medium in the lives of the common man, garnering his interest in visual arts as well.
