Events at Kaikondrahalli Lake

Kaikondrahalli Lake spread over 48 acres, 23 guntas on Sarjapur Road, is a bio-diverse ecosystem. Lake works are funded by BBMP, managed by MAPSAS trust and supported by the surrounding communities.

Will have two events, approved by the Lake Monitoring Committee, at the lake on Saturday 15th March at 4.30pm.

1)Anitha Supreeth and Priya Mani will conduct a story session followed by a small game for kids 3 to 10 years old. This will be held at the amphitheatre.

2) Rashmi Hari and Parvathy Eshwaran will lead a Nature Photography Tour starting at the gate opposite Kusum Delux Hotel. Kids above the age of 10 will have to come with their own cameras and they will be led around the lake to shoot pictures. Each kid will choose their best click and caption it. The pictures along with their caption will be uploaded onto this Facebook page.

4- The contest will start from 25th October 3 p.m (we can send our pictures) to 25th of November ( 1 p.m). The "likes" got after this time won't be take into account.

5- Send picture on the Email ID, NOT directly on the Facebook page (we won't publish them).

6- We will post the pictures on Monday and Friday (5 pm) of each week.

7- We won't accept incorrect judged pictures (be respectful) and, definitely, we won't publish them.

8- 2 ways to earn points to be elected as a winner :
- The amount of "like" ( 1 like = 1 point )
- Decathlon staffs form a jury of 4 people. Each of them will distribute 50 points for their favorites pictures, 30 points to the second and 10 points to the third.

Indeed, you can win until 200 points from the jury, which can completely reverse the trend.

9- The winners will be declared on Tuesday 26th of November. If you haven't liked the page, you will be eliminated.

10- The winners must be able to go to Decathlon to pick up their prizes by themselves

We will travel Different Locations of Southern India and this will also cover Major Adventure Treks to Western Ghats of India.

Event Information
Firstly For this event We are Meeting at Pyramid Valley at 10am on 21st September 2013.

Its a place with a Artificial Pyramid in Kanakapura Road, Bangalore, India which has hill and lot of trees where we can find lot of birds and many species.

Its a great Opportunity for us to make this event by finding different species and share the pictures in Snapstors Group album. Weekly Contests also will come up in near future.

ILB: Bengaluru Photo Contest

www.facebook.com/iluvbengaluru(I love Bengaluru) presents a complete online photography contest based on our own Bengaluru.

The event is completely online and is open till August 15th 2013. The rules of participation and judging criteria are below:


Participation:

1. Participant must be valid user in facebook. (people with more than 50 friends)
2. The participant shall like ILB page : Like it now [ www.facebook.com/iluvbengaluru ]
3. One participant may send maximum 2 pics in any of the 5 categories.
4. The photograph must be submitted via email only to ilb.photocontest@gmail.com as either TIFF or JPEG files
5. Subject of the email should be "ILB_< Facebook Name>_< Category Name>"
6. Basic retouched photo is accepted, but not mixture of two or more photos.
7. All the photographs will be uploaded by the organizers on the official facebook page of ILB after initial verification.
8. Photos will be uploaded with in 1 day after we receive.

Themes, Judging Criteria and Prizes
