Firstborn is trying his newly acquired Maths skills with anyone and everyone.
After being subjected to several non-stop sessions and not being able to take it anymore, we now direct him to our unsuspecting friends.
Here 's how it goes:
" Uncle, if I have 10 candies and you have 5 candies, who has more?"
"It's you, kiddo" (got away with that one)
(In a game show host voice) "That is Correct. Ok Uncle, it's your turn to ask"
"So, if you give all your 10 candies to me, what happens?"
"I have nothing, and that's not FAIR!!!"

My Child & I
Firstborn shows an oval hard-candy and asks,
"What will this be?"
I start guessing, to no avail:
" The Number Zero"
"The Letter O"
"The shape Oval"
Run out of answers and ask "So... what is it, then?"
"Candy!?!" (uttered with true amusement)

My Child & I
"Amma, can I eat dinner"
The plate of rice-cabbage dhal-rasam mix is served.
"Where's the vegetable, amma ?"
"Its mixed in the rice, kanna"
(thoughtful silence)
"But amma, I like to eat my vegetables on the side.
Do you have at least spinach?"
Cornered and speechless!!!
